FIFA 16: new features promise to make this the best version ever

FIFA 16 is an upcoming virtual reality soccer game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports. EA Sports has taken some groundbreaking steps in the game and several major changes have been implemented in the game, which are shooting, passing, defense and goal. It’s off to a very strong start and has the potential to be the best soccer game Electronic Arts Inc. has developed in years. In this article, we’ll take a look at what’s new for the upcoming FIFA 16, specifically what changed from FIFA 15.

Women’s teams

FIFA will include women’s national teams in the game for the first time in history. Twelve international women’s teams, including Spain, Germany, Sweden, the United States, Italy, China, Brazil and England will appear in FIFA 16. At the moment, there are no plans to include teams from women’s association football clubs from around the world. Still, it’s a great start and we look forward to seeing national women’s leagues in the future.

Address improvements

Gone are the days when a forward left his defender lying on the pitch in case his sliding tackle couldn’t take the ball away from him. Also, it is possible for a forward to recover from a sliding tackle and regain possession. It doesn’t take that long to get up after an entry.

Goalkeeper

A major goal flaw in FIFA 15 was long-distance goals from a low midfield region. For example, a player with great stamina and good shooting precision can easily score a goal from near the middle of the line. EA has fixed this issue this year as new features have been added to improve the goalkeeper’s ability to defend against certain situations.

Quick pass from anywhere

With a fast pass, you can now avoid those interceptions from anywhere on the field. By pressing a pass and the right bumper button when you are in control of the player, the player will be able to initiate a fast pass. This will send a fast and direct pass to your mark that denies the defense the opportunity to intercept the ball as they can with normal passes.

Dribble without touch

This feature allows you to move around the ball without touching it. If you look at players like Ronaldo and Messi, they maintain control of the ball, standing or dribbling, without touching it. FIFA 16 has tried to simulate this.

Shooting

Another important improvement that FIFA has made is shooting. It wasn’t an area with a lot of bugs and errors, but EA decided to make some improvements to the way players throw the ball. They have added new animations to give a fresh feeling to the shooting in the game. For example, a player can place the ball towards the net instead of throwing it towards the net. For platforms like PS4 and Xbox One, the controller will vibrate a little when you score, which will give you more satisfaction when scoring a goal.
