Dawn of Justice was exceptional! Glad it’s out of the way now, since I’ve said it out loud. I came to this movie with a bad sense of what to expect and immediately caught up.

Henry Cavill played the hero of Superman very well. I really love Christopher Reeve, so I always come in hoping that the actor will never be able to live up to his standards. Henry impressed me in the last movie, but this time he outdid himself.

Batman was played by Ben Affleck in this movie. Ben has received mixed reviews, but by the end he was proudly stating that he is one of the best to play the dark character. I was so impressed; I came home to see other Ben Affleck movies and review his acting career.

The surprise that stood out for us was Wonder Woman. As a child, I remember having a Wonder Woman outfit and was very proud to wear it as much as I could. I also remember how sad I was when I got over it. She played the strong Amazon woman you would expect and Gal Gadot was impressive. I can see this girl creating the need for a whole new generation to buy her costumes for the kids or for the next Supernova Pop Culture Expo.

I think the nerd in us has been waiting for an excuse to come out and be seen. If Avengers movies aren’t your thing, then the Justice League should fill your quota. Heroes are heroic, bad guys are really bad, and the scenery used is so incredible that you forget you’re watching a movie. The fight scenes really tear the place apart and make you feel the shock when someone is hit.

For those of you who know the character Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, it’s pretty funny. As with the usual bad boys, you want them to live so you can see what else they do.

I felt like they could have possibly cut an hour and adding the characters from the future Justice League was too much. The story line was more than enough on its own without neglecting what looked like a trailer for the next movie, within the current movie.

Overall, I loved it and can’t wait for the next Justice League movie to come out. The critics are crazy. Batman Vs Superman was fantastic.
