The performance is actually very good for the money, there are no cut corners with these models as the IM7 blank performance really pushes no matter what length you put the rod at. If you are a fan of plugs or soft plastic, this rod has excellent action without losing control over the plugs when combined with Braid. I tested the rod on rocks in my coastal area and even for tough 5 pound Wrasse fights this rod still has the pulling power to pump them from the depths and through thick undergrowth.

The adjustable handle allows you to extend it to its full length for a long distance or short for one-handed axillary casts. The handle has a ruler that is marked in approximately one centimeter increments for easy adjustment.
