best yugioh decks

Some of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! The decks at the moment are Black Wing and Lightsworn. following the limitation of the solemn judgment to only one, the gladiator beast is not that effective now.

Of all the best Yu-Gi-Oh! covers, Blackwing has had the most success, winning both the world championship (before the September ban list) and the first Shonen Jump after the new ban list. The only loss that hit him was really Gale’s limitation.

While I still think pure Blackwing (using Black whirlwind) is possibly the best deck, Vayu Turbo using both Lightsworn’s discard engine and the explosive power of Blackwing’s monsters has caught my eye.

Herman Herrera used Vayu turbo to make it to the finals of the Shonen Jump competition’s post-September ban list, so it’s worth mentioning here.

Being called Vayu Turbo, naturally Vayu is included. The gist is using Lightsworn’s discard power to take things like Sirocco and Vayu to the grave, using Armageddon knight and dark grepher on top to drop them even faster.

You can use all of this to spawn numerous sync monsters quickly. When you’ve cleared everything to quickly summon some Synchros, you can use burial from a different dimension to get them back into play once more.

A little trick like Necrogardna is obvious in this deck, and Dimensional Alchemist is a nice bonus. When it dies, you can also bring back one of your monsters that was taken out of play. With all the light and dark monsters in the tomb, you can happily afford to put in two chaos wizards and a dark armored dragon as well. Of course, they can easily win games, which is actually part of the main game plan.

For spells and traps, you have the charge of light brigades to get your oath of light to discard them more, the charm of darkness runs through your deck. The trap lineup is purely defensive.

Lightworn’s pick is Ryko and Lyla, Ryko is great in most situations, and Lyla can be used to destroy spells and traps before calling all synchros via ‘necro-synchro’ (synchronization from the grave using vayu, then get the plague spreader as well from the grave).

The side platform is mainly grave clearance. It can be used to get rid of the opponent’s vayu or additional light oath. The Mirror of Oaths is standard against the gladiator beast, the Imprisonment Mirror of Light is a must for those sworn to light, and the Faerie Wind is quite effective against royal oppression or even deals slightly more damage for the play. With this kind of speed, you can get any card that comes along pretty quickly, especially the all-important against light. Because even with three mirrors that imprison light, if you don’t get them fast and then kill them fast, you’ll still lose.

Simply put, this deck is built for speed and can quickly drop a large number of monsters to finish the game quickly.
