HIIT on a treadmill

Now what is HIIT on a treadmill? Well, it’s high-intensity interval training on a treadmill. The idea is that instead of just running on a treadmill at your usual pace for 30 to 45 minutes, you’ll sprint for a good 30 to 45 seconds and then jog for a minute or minute and a half. By doing this from time to time, you will put your body into an optimal state to burn fat.

Now this is not something you can endure for 30-45 minutes as it is very physically taxing but here is some good news. The good news is that you only have to do it for about 20 minutes and when you’re done, the work will continue to burn calories long after you leave the gym!

That is the power of this technique, it really speeds up your metabolism to a great extent and thus gives you amazing weight loss results if you can do it on a daily basis. Now you can also try doing this on an elliptical machine if you like and it will work just as well, just make sure you’re drenched in sweat at the end.
