Does the moon really influence hair growth? Truth behind the superstition

I was browsing the web once and came across a very interesting article about all the popular superstitions dealing with hair. One of them particularly piqued my interest. The author said that, despite common belief, the moon in no way can influence hair growth, because it simply cannot be, and that these are all grandmother’s tales.

Well of course a lot of scientists can lead you to long and boring calculations on how this influences that, and whether this influence is generally possible. But let’s take a closer look at this concept.

When I was in high school, my physics teacher showed us a simple formula for how one physical body influences another physical body. Of course, he was talking about really huge planets and bodies. But I can give you three reasons why this law is true for all existing physical bodies, no matter how small, minute, or miniscule.

Reason 1: Everything in the world is interconnected

General science says that every part of the Universe is guided by some laws of existence, and that the world is divided into parts that we see and cannot see. Also, we all know that something small creates great.

In other words, we are all made of particles that we cannot see, and the big world is made of small things in the same way.

Now let’s think about this: if everything is guided by laws, and the big and small world are interconnected, then this leads to the conclusion that we too are connected to the world and influenced by the general laws of its existence.

The first reason is proven.

Reason 2: Big Small Influences

Going back to my sweet physics teacher, let’s take a closer look at the laws of mutual influence.

Who said that we are not influenced by the planet, OR the planets? For example, there are people who are sensitive to the weather, whose state of health depends on sunny or rainy weather and atmospheric pressure. People are small and the planet is huge, the planet influences people, great influences small ones.

So why does something that is generally and physically possible seem so impossible to self-oriented humans?

Suppose that reason two is also proven.

Reason 3: stars are not just points in the sky

This reason is my final argument for those who know that the world turns, but are not likely to believe it.

There is astronomy and astrology. Each of these sciences deals with the stars. One predicts the future, the second studies the movements of the planets. First, some of us do not consider science as a science, second, it uses so many technical gadgets and devices that almost all of us believe it. Of course, tabloid horoscopes do not add faith in the accuracy of the predictions.

But did you know that ancient Arabs made long and complicated calculations that were written in separate large books to get the correct future forecast for the single person? These calculations generally took several weeks to complete; they required not only the exact date of their birth, but also the day, hour, minute, even the exact second of birth of their parents, some of the relatives, even strangers.

In addition, they took into account the positions of the planets, the Sun, the Moon, the Earth itself. And these positions were calculated in the same way that modern scientists, using fast computers and the latest devices, calculate them now.

So, as you can see, astrology was once a fairly exact, complicated, and demanding science that was later abused and misled.

Now we read horoscopes just for fun and we don’t know their true history and nature. To say more, astronomy has its origin in astrology, because the first star maps and observations were brought from Arab countries.

But I will not say that the stars influence our future. What I really mean is that the stars influence our health and mood by the magnetic and physical interconnection with the Earth, which, in turn, directly influences us.

So even if you don’t think the stars influence you, they influence every part of the world you live in, and these parts, in turn, have a certain impact on you.

The third reason is proven.

When it comes to the growth or discoloration of the Moon and its influence on hair growth, their existence is explained by the firm and solid law of nature.

The Moon and the Earth are united by mutual attraction. Ocean high and low tides exist because the Moon moves closer to and farther from Earth in a six-hour cycle. The lunar cycle that fades into growth has eight stages, and this cycle influences the Earth in the same way that the six-hour cycle does.

Also, the Moon revolves around the Earth along an oval orbit, so there are points where the Moon is closest to Earth and when the Moon is farthest from Earth. It all leads us to a complicated eight-stage ellipse lunar cycle.

The lunar cycle leads to minor changes in atmospheric pressure and the power of Earth’s gravity. In turn, this affects the health and behavior of animals and humans. For example, doctors report an increase in seizures and bleeding ulcers around the time of the full moon.

Gravity is one of the most powerful forces on Earth, so you can’t ignore the Moon.

If we now think more about certain similarities between the natural world and the human organism, we will see that plants and herbs grow better or worse according to the lunar cycle. Also, it is common practice when coffee merchants view winter full moon charts to plan their coffee sales in Brazil. The connection between the full moon and plant growth is so well established that it affects reversal patterns.

Hair growth is affected by the Moon in the same way as anything else on the planet. When gravity changes, so does your health. With the lowest gravity, even if the change is so small that you don’t feel it, your hair grows more slowly. It occurs at the beginning of the lunar cycle and in its middle, on the full moon.

During the new moon and the old moon, gravity is higher and hair grows faster. Therefore, the perfect time to visit your stylist is on days 3-11 of the lunar cycle, as well as days 17-24. Your hair will grow faster during these days.

Even if you don’t believe all of the above, you cannot deny the influence of gravity on the human organism. Therefore, there really are certain connections and influences of the Moon on hair growth.

There are only a few remembering those who hope for miracles:

o The changes in Earth’s gravity are very small, so you shouldn’t expect great results.

o If your stylist has a “heavy” hand and your hair doesn’t grow back in two weeks after cutting, you shouldn’t expect miraculous hair growth as well.

o If your hair is in poor condition, it will take any opportunity to revive first, and only then will it grow more.

o My last reminder is that if you had a short haircut before, and now you have decided to grow your hair long, it will take time, no matter when you cut your hair and who cuts it. Our hair grows only up to 5-7 millimeters per month, and this is a proven scientific fact.

So whether or not you believe that the Moon and hair growth are connected, you would agree that as long as you live on the planet, you will feel, consciously or unconsciously, all the changes and influences made by our planet and its counterparts.
