Fruit: nature’s great cleanser and one of the keys to losing weight

We all know that fruit is good for us, but do we understand why and HOW good is it for us? Fruit is nature’s cleanser for the body, there are many diets and “detox” plans out there claiming all kinds of weight loss, more energy, and generally making you feel better, and yet the truth is that fruit can do all of that and taste great at the same time.

Due to the high water content, natural sugars, and various antioxidants contained in the fruit, it aids the body’s natural waste process by removing unwanted material from our systems. The lymphatic system is often referred to as the body’s waste disposal unit – there is about 40 times more lymph in your system than there are red blood cells!

This lymph collects the waste and aims to get rid of it from the body, the problem is that if your body doesn’t help, the lymph just has to “wrap” the waste and store it, this becomes excess weight! So we need to help our system by eating foods that help the lymphatic system do its job effectively, and that’s how it’s done!

Eat only fruit before lunchtime!

Fruit should always be your favorite breakfast; We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it jump-starts your system in the morning after sleeping at night. What better way to get it going than with foods rich in water and natural antioxidants? You can immediately start your system to flush out the debris that built up the day before.

Start your day with a banana for energy and then something else water-based – grapefruit is a great start to the day and great for refreshing your system. Then, if you need a snack in the morning, make sure it’s also fruit so you can keep your waste system flowing.

Eat fruit only on an empty stomach

Due to the natural acids within the fruit, they do not mix well with other foods as your stomach cannot easily digest two different food groups together. This will mean that it will take more time and effort to digest your food and thus take away your energy.

Eat fruit one to two hours before bed

Whether you eat a piece of fruit or a small fruit salad, this is key to losing weight. Eating too many heavy foods before bed will only ensure that your body digests them for the middle of the night and therefore you will wake up still tired. Fruit is easily digestible, so your body won’t be overworked overnight. Also, as mentioned above, it is a great cleanser for the body and will help your system of waste.

Imagine that your body can eliminate waste at night while you sleep, which means that when you wake up and go to the bathroom, all the waste will leave your body and you will naturally lose weight overnight!

Eat fruit this way and you’ll be well on your way to achieving one of the keys to losing weight and keeping it off for good.

for your success
