Now you have. You didn’t listen to all the people who told you not to buy a white desk. You liked the desk, it looked so beautiful in the store window, but you didn’t think about how the stains would appear on the clean surface of that white and white desk. First of all, don’t panic, we can fix this. You just need to calm down and start thinking clearly. Now that it has been established, let’s think of some solutions that we can try.

Get a paper towel. It will be used to absorb excess liquid from the desktop surface. Fold it to form more layers to absorb the liquid. When you have removed all the liquid that did not sink into the pores of the wood, apply another paper towel to the stain and pour in some bleach. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and repeat for 10 minutes or so.

Get a toothbrush and apply some bleach to the stain. Try to be gentle, just gently rub the brush over the white desk area that has been stained. You should just try to rub the bleach into the stain to pick up the color.

Put vinegar and baking soda on the stain. This will produce a lathering action found in many cleaners. The hope is that the action of the lather will lift some of the stain and all your worries will go away.

White paint would be the simplest solution. All you need to do is repaint the desktop. However, you may have to paint the entire surface because it may look different from the rest of the white desk.

Find a wood furniture cleaner. You should be able to find something that works at the grocery store (certainly not the only one dumb enough to buy a white desk). Be sure to read the label to see if it will work the way you want.
