Me Again – Bluetooth Compatible

I have been wearing hearing aids for 10 months and my life has changed. A few tweaks we needed to make things as seamless as possible for me, Covid pushed appointments back for a good few months but overall it’s been a joy.

I still struggle with the sound of the TV, but my husband, who has good hearing, is the same, so apparently I’m normal in that regard. Although there is a box that will connect to my TV and allow me to listen to programs through my headphones, so if I choose to do so, I can smile at the good listener struggling with a bad sound mix. Bonuses!

Phone calls are great on my mobile, no more rummaging through my bag to find my phone, only to find that someone has hung up and now I have to call back. One tap behind my ear to say hello, two to say goodbye, the phone is still in the bag!

I’m not telling you the sound is perfect, but it’s much better than it has been for 10 years, and I feel like myself again. No longer is a perfectly intelligent person treated like the idiot in the room, with people talking slowly but loudly, not realizing that it doesn’t help at all.

During the Covid situation my work has moved online and thanks to the headphones I can heal people in webinars much better than I used to almost normally which is brilliant. They should connect via bluetooth to my computer and if I can fix that, which hasn’t been easy, it will be even better. The hearing aids have two microphones, so they pick up your voice clearly.

As a professional public speaker, and an insper-active speaker who encourages you to be inspired to action and not just inspired, I will be able to purchase two microphones at a reasonable price, one of which can be handed over by the audience, the other will be clipped to my clothing. . When the listening member speaks into his microphone, I will listen to him through my headphones.

Because I have to have over-ear headphones, the Covid situation hasn’t been easy. With aids, goggles, and a mask, I’m throwing things right, left, and center if I’m not careful, and today I landed with both aids tangled in my hair. If you can have the inner ear ones, you will escape this problem.

However, there was one big hurdle he had to overcome. Not the way they look, I have long thick hair, not the fact that I’m grateful for them. The name of them. Hearing aids sound so old even though children are born with hearing problems. I’ve been through that too.

“Are you wearing your headphones, dear?”

“No, I’m not connected via bluetooth right now!”

So there you have it, being bluetooth compatible is pretty brilliant, they don’t fall out if you go out for a run, and you can make them sound disgustingly modern and whatnot.
