Peace of mind: 3 keys take you beyond the myths

First, you will need to understand what peace of mind is not … because if you search for something that does not exist, you will get angry. There are many, many, many people who are angry but have some kind of ambition for inner peace. These people will eventually get sick. So, let’s start with what it isn’t.

Peace of mind is not the lack of disturbance. Lack of disturbance comes with death. If you want a relationship or job without disturbances you need to be a dictator or a criminal who shoots those who disagree. Conflict is included in their inner peace … but many people with mental disorders seek to create a peaceful mind to eliminate disturbances. That is not inner peace, it is madness.

Peace of mind is not a positive thought. Positive-thinking people are extremely entertaining, attractive, and seductive, but they are dishonest both with themselves and with others. However, if the person having positive thoughts knows that they are only acting positively for the benefit of making others feel good, then they will have some peace of mind … on the other hand, if the person is struggling with the Negativity, negative thinking or trying to associate only with positive people, you will not have peace and will have your whole life in charge of the mission of escaping from challenges. This is a disappointing life and there is no peace of mind or inner security in this way of living.

Peace of mind is not sitting cross-legged with your eyes closed and listening to the Dalai Lama do deep knowledge on his iPod. It is a wonderful thing to do, but it is not what we are looking for. In fact, this kind of thing leads to depression. Depression is as natural as peeing, but if you do not allow yourself to have moments or days of depression, you will not have inner peace, always fighting against what you cannot fight. This is an important element, accepting what Nature-Al is instead of running around trying to fix what is not broken.

Peace of mind is not “non-violent” This world is a very diverse place. There are bullies, of all shapes and sizes. There are angry women who abuse men at work, angry men who abuse women at work, there are drunkards and terrorists and mestizos who murder and fight. If you fear this or hope to eliminate it to live “in peace”, you will not have a sense of tranquility. So inner peace doesn’t come from changing the world. In fact, it’s the opposite.

Peace of mind does not come from love, relationships, family, success, wealth, or religion. None of those things create comfort or calm. They may create places that are less conflictual, but those places eventually clash. Even $ 1 billion will allow you to buy an island, an idyllic space, love, friends, family and religious status, but eventually nature, your nature will get bored and it will create problems for you. So the answer to reassurance is not material.

That’s enough about what peace of mind is not. Now let’s talk about what peace of mind is.

Body in peace … If you stick a pin in your arm, your arm will go away. That is automatic. You can control this to some degree, but eventually, if you replace the pin with a red-hot flame, you will lose control and your arm will drift away. So your body has a mind of its own. This is obvious to those who are curing a disease of the body. Even if you think you can think of a way out of illness or disease, you will probably need the help of external interventions … medications and surgery … so that the mind and body are connected but also independent. This is the beginning of tranquility. Health. Now, you have to separate short-term gratification (seeking to be happy by eating, not exercising, exercising more, drinking, or whatever) and long-term health. It is long-term health that gives you a body that deteriorates day by day (one gets older) but is relatively pain-free. Pain … caused by too much of something or not enough of something, disturbs the peace of mind deep down.

Mind at Peace … If someone tells you that you are stupid or dumb or wrong, you will probably react. This is because your sense of self is made up of beliefs about yourself. Those beliefs about yourself are commonly called your ego. It really is a bad word because it is an essential element of your nature, but it has been given a bad wrap. It is simply better to think inspired. Inspired thinking means that your ego becomes inclusive. In another way of speaking, the bigger your ego, the less you will argue about being called stupid or dumb or Christian or whatever … if your ego is too small you will fight all the insults, but if your ego is huge, there are no things like insults, there are truths that don’t matter. For example, if your ego is huge, like Jesus or Gandhi or Martin Luther King or some sports star, it will be difficult for you to see another person on earth who has qualities, good or bad, that you do not have. So, you get what is called compassion and gratitude. Big Ego, Huge Identity is the second key to peace of mind … because this eliminates the need for defensiveness, aggression and fear.

Spirit at Peace … Oh, if I had $ 1 for every corporate executive who turned off their receivers when I mentioned Spirit, or Heart, or Soul … I’d be a billionaire today. But this is a key ingredient of peace of mind and let me tell you why. You have a body with a mind and a mind with a mind, and they often push each other in different directions. You may be physically attracted to someone and yet mentally disconnected from them, or vice versa. You may feel physically uncomfortable in an office, but keep your mind fully engaged with the money, results, and accomplishments you are building. So, there can be no peace of mind while those two renegades are arguing with each other. Can you there? This is where the spirit comes in. The spirit creates a binding force that aligns the heart, mind, and body. It’s called your vision. Your true vision, inspiration, and purpose is the binding force that aligns your heart, mind, and spine. Unless those three are aligned … which means focused on a dream, vision, hope or purpose in life, you will be in internal conflict and that’s where peace of mind goes out the window. No meditation, no isolation, no gratification can resolve the inner conflict when there is no vision. You will meet the people of the world who have more internal conflict and therefore less vision because they will be sick or they will seek peace in every situation they encounter.

Over the past 25 years I have had the gift of working with thousands of people. Most have been looking for reassurance. Most have done a lot in their lives to find it. Most were frustrated by their life circumstances because they were still in turmoil, such as divorces or health problems or business / career problems. Every year, three or four people have rejected me saying that they will find their answer elsewhere, but within 3 years they have returned to finish what they started. Peace of mind is not easy. The mission of all corporate cultures is to make sure you don’t find peace of mind because they work to motivate you and motivation is replaced by inspiration when you find peace of mind. There are few companies in the world that operate on Inspiration, most are stuck in motivation, grappling with a fragmented understanding of “full human” capability. This, no, must change eventually.

Peace of mind will not come from religion. Comfort in the afterlife can encourage conformity in this life, but this will never align the heart, mind, and spine even though it offers that promise. You will see the tranquility in the faces of the people who leave their place of worship and you will see it evaporate the moment they hit the cold real reality of their domestic or work life. Such a fragmented religious addiction serves to feed the hope of the desperate and as such has a role, but the greatest fear of its religious leaders is that it will find what we have called in this article, Peace of Mind, because with that discovery, it becomes Independent. and connected to God, Nature and the world they promise, it is only available through your guidance.

Peace of mind is not peace. Peace of mind comes from health that requires discipline and sacrifices, it comes from continually expanding your ego to be inclusive and therefore losing the separation between self and other, and it comes from alignment, aligning your heart, mind and column with the divine. .. your vision, your inspirations and purpose in life.
