This ATV is more comfortable than we initially expected – the seat is extremely soft and comfortable to ride, making every trip on the ATV a success! Most Arctic Cat fans say they were most impressed by the fact that it had a front-locking differential – it’s almost impossible to get stuck on this ATV. “One time, I was ready to winch, but suddenly I remembered that my Arctic Cat had a front differential feature, and in the blink of an eye, I was out. However, not everything is rosy with the Arctic Cat because one problem we encountered was that the gears were set too high. For example, the reverse gear was set so high that if you try to back out of the mud, you won’t be able to because you won’t have enough power to get the ATV out. Maybe a tire change would do the trick, so it’s all trial and error here.
Arctic Cat 400 probably isn’t the best machine to race, but it’s definitely one of the best ATVs to own if you love to get a little muddy. It has the power to get the machine out of any situation if it has the right tires and is decently quick. But we think it’s nothing a little tweaking can’t fix. and for that price? Come on!
