Vacation rentals in and out of Orlando

Before you decide to rent a condo, apartment, or vacation home, you’ll need to research things like the location, the amenities, the size of the property, and of course, combine that with what you plan to do when you get to town.

Location is extremely important to your plans, so make sure you’ve selected the right area so you can get to everything you want to see and do. If you’re visiting the major theme parks, you’ll need to stay in Kissimmee, which is the closest destination for vacation rentals in the Disney, Sea World, and Universal Orlando areas.

If you plan to visit some of the great shopping or fabulous restaurants, you’ll need to be close to Interstate 4, which allows quick travel from the Kissimmee area to the Florida Mall, Mall of Millennia, Dr. Phillips, and Winter Park Areas.

So now let’s break down hosting options into three areas:

1) Condominium

Condominiums are typically 400 to 800 square feet. feet in size and are usually made up of a small living room, a bedroom and a small kitchen. Usually your condo will be mixed with many other units of a similar nature and for some people that can be very overwhelming. Condos are usually the cheapest way to go if you’re on a really tight budget, but peace, quiet, and tranquil surroundings can be sacrificed.

2) Apartment / Townhouse

Apartments, also known as townhomes, can vary in size, but most range from 500 square feet upwards to 2,000 square feet for the largest units. Apartments are very similar to condominiums in that they are generally found in blocks of buildings of three stories or more, and again this can be overwhelming for those used to having a lot of space around them. Again, privacy can be an issue, but they do offer a bit more space than a condo unit. Each apartment will have a separate living room, separate medium sized kitchen and separate bedrooms. Most apartments range from one to three bedrooms and are generally moderately priced.

3) Holiday homes

Vacation homes are the way to go if you value space, peace and quiet and the ultimate in luxury. The common myth is that they are expensive but there really are great deals out there and if you like having spacious floor plans from 1500 square feet upwards to over 4000 square feet of space available to you then this is the only way to go. Vacation homes have at least one living room or den (some have two or three such areas), big-screen TVs, Internet access, full-size kitchens, laundry facilities, garages, and private heated pools.

Most vacation homes are also equipped with all modern appliances, home furnishings, DVD/CD players, entertainment centers, video game consoles, covered decks, and patios.

Each type of vacation rental property offers amenities that are sure to make your stay in Orlando more enjoyable, and you should check each rental community to find out if they have some of the nicer extras, like clubhouse access, walking trails, and walking trails. bike riding, community pools, golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, fitness centers, and shuttle service to area theme parks, as not all rental communities have what you may be looking for.

So now you have the information you need to decide. Ultimately, it’s up to you what you want and need to ensure the perfect stay. Choose well!
