Internet Marketing – Website Promotion

Basically, there are two ways that you can do internet marketing website promotion. You can spend a little money and get targeted traffic or you can invest a lot of time and go the free route. Whichever you choose will obviously be based on your current financial situation. However, I will give you some pros and cons of both ways in the hope that it will help you make an informed decision.

the free route

There are several ways to generate traffic by doing it for free. You have MySpace, Facebook, YouTube videos, creating profiles on business networking sites, email marketing to your contacts, contributing to forums with a signature link, and many others. Each can attract people to your website, but not everything is peach and cream. The question is whether you have enough time to do it all.

Think about it, if you create a profile in a company or social network, you must know your back office. The most important thing is how the HTML works to put banners, text links and images in the right place. If you’re going to a forum, then you have to spend time reading posts and threads, and then making your own replies so people can see the signature link you attached to your profile. I could go over a hundred things, but you get the point. So plan to set aside some time.

Invest in Little Dough

If you’ve already set a budget for how much you plan to spend on internet marketing website promotion, then that’s a start. The next thing to do is figure out if you want to use tools like Google Adwords, buy targeted leads, or buy an autoresponder. All of these will get you traffic faster, but the most important is getting that autoresponder. Because? Well, I’ll explain it to you.

Look, if you’re getting visitors to your website, you never know when they’re checking everything. If you have an engaging contest, newsletter, training course, or giveaway attached to it, people will want to sign up. This will allow you to keep in touch with them through broadcast emails and eventually try to sell them something. The more you have, the better, but if you don’t have an autoresponder, you’re just losing business.

implementing everything

One thing I want to point out is that the more of these you use, the better. However, I understand that everyone’s situation is different and you will need to adapt your internet marketing website promotion to everyday life. So take some time to come up with a plan for what you want to do. Don’t try to do them all at once, but do them one step at a time. It may seem trivial, but doing it all at once will not be as effective for your business. Just something to keep in mind when you start out.
